Before submitting your FAA MedXPress application, Aviation Career Experts offers a Medical Application Review conducted by Dr. Owen, an Aviation Medical Examiner (AME). For $100, he will review your MedXPress application and any relevant medical history to identify potential concerns before you schedule your FAA medical exam and provide a simple stoplight assessment to help you better understand your readiness for the certification process. This review is informational only and does not replace an FAA medical exam or guarantee certification.

FAA Medical Application Review

Before submitting your FAA MedXPress application, it can be extremely helpful to have an experienced Aviation Medical Examiner review it. Through Aviation Career Experts, Dr. Owen (AME) offers a pre-submission review of your FAA MedXPress application to identify potential issues before you visit your AME.

For a fee of $100, Dr. Owen will review your MedXPress applications for First to Third Class (No Basic Med at this time) and any relevant medical history or documentation and provide a simple “stoplight” assessment:

    •    Green – Clear to Proceed

No significant issues identified. You should be able to proceed with your FAA medical exam.

    •    Yellow – Possible Considerations

Additional documentation, clarification, or preparation may be recommended before seeing an AME.

    •    Red – Significant Risk Identified and additional work needed before proceeding

Your application may face difficulty in its current state. In these cases, we may recommend consultation with a specialized aviation medical expert before proceeding.

This review does not replace an FAA medical exam and does not guarantee certification. The goal is simply to identify potential concerns early and help you avoid unnecessary delays or denials.
