FAA Application Medical Review

$100

Before submitting your FAA MedXPress application, Aviation Career Experts offers a Medical Application Review conducted by Dr. Owen, an Aviation Medical Examiner (AME).

He will review your MedXPress application and any relevant medical history to identify potential concerns before you schedule your FAA medical exam and provide a simple stoplight assessment to help you better understand your readiness for the certification process.

This review is informational only and does not replace an FAA medical exam or guarantee certification. This review is for your benefit and will not result in a deferral or denial. It is an opportunity to help identify potential issues before officially doing an FAA medical exam.

Meet Dr. Scott

Dr. Scott is widely regarded as one of the leading experts in complex aviation medical certification cases. The team at ACE, including Dr. Owen, brings deep experience in aviation medicine and career guidance—but when a case becomes particularly challenging, Dr. Scott’s expertise and dedication stand out. His extensive background and determination have helped countless pilots obtain or retain their FAA medical certification and return to the flight deck. ACE has partnered with Dr. Scott to ensure our clients have access to the highest level of medical advocacy and guidance.

His website is listed below his biography.

Dr. Scott served as a flight surgeon in the Air Force for 22 years, including an assignment as the Chief of Physical Standards for the USAF. He also served for 2 years as the commander of the United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine, where all Air Force flight surgeons and other aviation medical personnel are trained.

Dr. Scott worked for the FAA for 15 years, including several years as the Manager for the medical certification division for the entire FAA. He reviewed approximately 40,000 medical deferral cases in his time with the FAA, helped rewrite the FAA policy to get pilots with controlled cancer diagnoses back in the air, and trained a large percentage of the existing medical certification officers working for the FAA.
